An elegantly photographed and exquisitely printed collection of portraits of jazz greats photographed between 1953-1963 by William Claxton.
The prints are photogravure reproductions from a first edition book of 4,000 copies with deep satin blacks on a velvet paper stock. Each is conservation matted in a bevel cut four ply mat with a black core and a conservation backing board. The finished matted print size is 14 x 18 inches and is ready for framing in this standard size frame.
